Wrap dresses are great at creating shape and that coveted hourglass figure. Drawing the eye to the usually thinest part of the body, it's a universally flattering cut. Also, great for work.
Another trend that I've been seeing EVERYWHERE are the peplum dresses/skirts/shirts. I'm a little bit nervous about this trend, considering my hips are on the larger side, but after digging and researching a bit, this style could be really workable for pear and hourglass shapes.
Then there are the menswear-inspired shirt dresses. I love this trend, because I'm all about chic comfort clothing. These can be tricky, however, and generally finding one long enough (for me anyway and my 5'9" frame) is a bit difficult. Also, you have to make sure that the sizing is right, or else you can start to look frumpy. A belt is a necessary accessory for shirt dresses.
