Popular Fall/End of Summer Trends - Wrap Dresses, Shirt Dresses, and Peplum Dresses/Skirts/Shirts

Wrap dresses have been around for what feels like AGES, but there's a big resurgence lately that I've seen, especially for the coming fall season. Most wrap dresses are getting a facelift and while there are beautiful wrap dresses from stores like Bloomingdales and Nordstrom, I prefer good deals, especially with my budget.

Wrap dresses are great at creating shape and that coveted hourglass figure. Drawing the eye to the usually thinest part of the body, it's a universally flattering cut. Also, great for work.

Another trend that I've been seeing EVERYWHERE are the peplum dresses/skirts/shirts. I'm a little bit nervous about this trend, considering my hips are on the larger side, but after digging and researching a bit, this style could be really workable for pear and hourglass shapes.

Then there are the menswear-inspired shirt dresses. I love this trend, because I'm all about chic comfort clothing. These can be tricky, however, and generally finding one long enough (for me anyway and my 5'9" frame) is a bit difficult. Also, you have to make sure that the sizing is right, or else you can start to look frumpy. A belt is a necessary accessory for shirt dresses.

Here are some reasonably priced dresses, skirts and shirts to get you started!
